Concept & Team Summary:
We are two architects from the Escola Técnica Superior D’Arquitectura de Barcelona. One of our biggest concerns is the issue of residential housing that is why our reflections and experiments are based on this topic.
The house type is based on a preconceived scheme imposed to the user, the inverse situation should be proposed, in which the pattern of use varies according to user’s needs. Users should be able to participate in the functionality of the space they are using, being able to suit it to their needs and lifestyles.
The concept of “home furniture”, KIT HOUSE, tries to get the user playing leading role in the star of their home, being able to decide the spaces to live and creating different function for the same space as the individual’s life evolves.
